Like our sister publication php|architect, PyMag is a technical magazine built by developers for developers. As such, you can expect minimal—but topical—advertising, and plenty of top-notch content. It's what we'd like to read—and we're developers, too!
- Doug Hellmann, Editor-in-Chief—Doug Hellmann has been programming in Python since version 1.4 on a variety of Unix and non-Unix platforms. He has used Python for projects ranging from mapping to medical news publishing, with a little banking thrown in for good measure. When he is not building data center automation tools, he blogs the Python Module of the Week, reads, and enjoys sampling wines.
- Marco Tabini, Publisher—Marco firmly believes that the best way to succeed at anything is to approach everything with an open mind—which is what he keeps telling people who question whether he knows anything about publishing. He is the author and co-author of many books and articles on web development, and has been the publisher of php|architect since its inception in 2002.
- Arbi Arzoumani, Editorial Director—as the company's only person capable of holding a pencil without causing a nuclear incident, Arbi is responsible for the look and feel of all our publications. A programmer at heart, Arbi worked on many high-profile websites before co-founding php|architect in 2002.
- Emanuela Corso, Managing Editor—Emanuela worked as a computer entertainment journalist before joining MTA as a co-founder of php|architect in 2002 and now manages all our financial and administrative activities.
